Frequently Asked Questions
How are the courses delivered?
Your tuition costs cover all study materials needed for each course including the cost of shipping. Once you have returned the payment option form to the Administrative Office, your first course will be sent to you via the United States Postal Service. If you are studying in a foreign country the shipping may vary from postal to UPS or FedEx, but either way you will receive your course materials soon.
Is there a library research facility requirement?
Yes, In addition to the course text, students are responsible for locating an institute of higher learning where they can conduct research. In every state students may use state institute facilities, some may charge a small user fee. Public libraries and online facilities are other sources of research. It is the responsibility of students to furnish Rose of Sharon Bible Institute with a list of research facilities they plan to use.
Is there a residential requirement?
No, distance education is a nontraditional program, which does not require regular classroom attendance. For graduate and post graduate programs there may be some nontraditional residency requirements. Attending weekend classes, conferences and seminars can satisfy these requirements. These requirements will be explained to each student depending on the individual programs.
What if I cannot graduate at designated ceremony?
If it is not possible for you to graduate with us at our graduation ceremony you will still receive your diploma, cap and robe. If your local church wishes they can hold a ceremony for you at their convenience.

Yes, you can take a break from course work if necessary. You will need to fill out the vacation form enclosed in this packet and return it to the Administrative Office. You can cease from course work for a cumulative total of 12 months per program without having to re-enroll.
What materials are included in each course?
The course materials vary from course to course. Most courses come with a study guide, study guide answer sheet, final exam, final exam answer sheet, and a textbook. Some of our freshman and sophomore courses use the same book. In that case, when you enroll in those courses you will receive the textbook only once. Regardless of what course you take, you will receive a list of materials informing you of what you can expect from each course.
How much study time can I expect to spend?
If you will fully commit one to two hours per day for 5 days a week you will be able to stay on track and finish the course on time. Guard your time carefully. You will need to isolate yourself to get the most of your study time.

Carefully transfer the answers to your study guide answer sheet. You only need to send us the study guide answer sheet. You are responsible for any mis-transferred answers so please be careful when completing the answer sheet.
What can I do if I do not pass a course?
The main focus of Rose of Sharon Bible Institute is not just the issuance of diplomas and grades, but that you understand the information being taught. Our courses and materials are designed to maximize your educational retention. We do, however, recognize the fact that occasionally a student might perform less than expected while studying a subject. You may retake the final examination without paying any additional fees. If you fail a course a second time, you will be required to re-enroll and pay any applicable tuition fees. When re-enrolling you will be required to submit the study guide answers and the final exam again.
When will I receive my final exam?
We will send your final exam with your corrected study guide answer sheet. Make any corrections on your study guide so you will be studying the correct answers when you are preparing for the final exam. After completing the final exam, send the final exam answer sheet to the Administrative office for grading. You will receive your final grade after your examination is graded.
