Postgraduate Diploma Programs

Doctoral Level Diploma Program
To enroll in a Doctoral Diploma Program a student must have completed a Master diploma. All Doctoral Programs are core specific, and each program is very intensive. Research and writing of a dissertation are major portions of all doctoral level programs. The programs of studies are Biblical Studies, Ministry, Theology, Religious Education and specially designed programs.

Students enrolled in doctoral programs are presumed to have the ability to study independently, yet will receive the assistance from staff when necessary. Each program has specific credit hour requirements for completion. Most require 45 to 64 credit hours above the Master level to complete. The graduate committee must approve all topics for the dissertation. For information about a specific program of study contact the Office of Academic Affairs and that office will contact the Dean of Academic Affairs.

Prerequisites
Any student wishing to enter the graduate program of Rose of Sharon Bible Institute must have completed the Master's program at Rose of Sharon Bible Institute or they must have a Master's diploma from a compatible educational institution. When transferring credits from another college, depending on the major of your diploma, you may need to complete some Master's courses.

Graduation requirements for Doctoral Programs
The student must:

Complete 45 to 64 graduate credit hours depending on the diploma program in which one is enrolled. All credit hours for these programs must be completed at Rose of Sharon Bible Institute
Earn a 3.2 GPA at Rose of Sharon Bible Institute
Complete the Petition for Graduation in Records Office by the end of the trimester of anticipated graduation.
Settle all financial obligations to the college.
Attend commencement activities if possible.
